What Makes Us Different?

We understand that a child’s success starts at home and then grows from there.  We also understand that Club Explore is just one piece of the larger puzzle in helping families raise healthy and happy children. Oftentimes, a family can benefit from other assistance too.  The Frederick Alliance for Youth staff, who lead Club Explore are dedicated to helping the entire family problem-solve challenges that can affect their overall potential.  These are just some of the areas that the Club Explore staff can help with:

  • Helping to foster an open and effective relationship between school and home.
  • Providing communication assistance to families who do not speak English as their first language.
  • Support with not only identifying family resources in the community, but helping to navigate them.
  • Helping families network with one another to build a strong, safe, and proactive community.

All of these aspects of life are interwoven for families and we know that healthy and happy families are the key to our future. So what makes us different? We know the Future is NOW…
